As a member of Remedia’s Perinatal Care Team, Stephanie is available Friday mornings from
9:00am – 12:00pm. Mental health appointments are now available through online booking by
visiting remediahealth.ca or by emailing the clinic and are covered by some insurance plans.
Connection through relationships to support birthing individuals in their healing journey is at the heart of Stephanie’s practice. She offers mental health care for birthing individuals and their support systems throughout preconception, pregnancy, childbirth and after delivery. Stephanie recognizes the importance of relationships and the influence they have on mental health and well-being.
Stephanie offers a variety of therapeutic approaches that centre around relational health and
emotional needs. She aims to support families throughout their perinatal experience in the
exploration of their well-being. She offers the introduction of common language when navigating partnership, parenting and self-reflection in order to work toward therapeutic goals.Stephanie is licensed through the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) as aRegistered Counselling Therapist (RCT) and through the Canadian College of Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC).

Tamara has been a nurse since 2010, specializing in perinatal and newborn health. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), she provides care to parents and their babies experiencing breast/chest feeding challenges. She strongly believes that all families deserve support that is compassionate, evidence-based, and empowers you to build your confidence as a parent.

Ashley Hancock
Registered Physiotherapist
Ashley is trained in pelvic health physiotherapy for bladder health and function. She can help you navigate bladder symptoms including urgency, frequency, and leakage. Ashley is experienced in providing mobility, functional care, and falls prevention to seniors. Bladder health is important at every age.

Jessica Bergevin, PT is in the final stages of her Doctoral research on Prenatal Care! She won a bursary from the NSPA to attend the 2024 Canadian Physiotherapy Congress in Vancouver. she will be travelling there later this Spring and visiting Queen's University on her way back to present her research to the academic committee.
